MCS Multi Computer Solutions - Company Profile
Computers have always been a passion of mine
since 1981 when small computerized games came out. I became a
firefighter in the United States Air Force 1982 and on my off time I would
read books and magazines on anything that had information on computers.
It seemed half of my life was either geared to repairing computers or
showing someone how to use them correctly.
In 1997 I retired from the Manchester Fire Department and took my pension in
a one lump sum and with my wife we opened up a Computer Training Facility.
The Training Facility that we owned was geared to teach Microsoft Products
such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and my favorite Access, we also
taught Networking, Server Software, and Web Design.
In 2002 one of Microsoft's sales representative's call to see if I would be
interested in selling a new product of there's call Retail
Management System. At the time I was not very interested and
had put them off for a few weeks. After the third call from this
person I decide to take a look at the program to see how solid the database
was. I discovered that it was one of the most sound databases that I
have ever seen and decided to give it a try.
March of 2003 I got certified on Retail Management System and was able to
show Retailers how to streamline their business and how to get some of their
time back into there life's. As we became more involved in helping
retailers we found the need to have a certification in the Headquarters
program that Microsoft offers to multiple stores in a organization. So
by the July of 2003 we had achieved this goal and have helped span our
business into a full service operation for retailers.
As life continued we were asked if we had a program that would handle
restaurants and after a couple of years of looking for the best value and
most solid database that could handle a restaurant environment. We
found Point of Success to be the best restaurant software
available in the restaurant arena. In March of 2006 we became
resellers for Point of Success and now can provide for restaurants.
Our customer's have always enjoyed our family run business and how we help
them with their issue's. If you are looking for the best in computer
knowledge then, you have come to the right place. Our son Ricky is our
master technician, he has proven himself to many of customers that his
knowledge is second to none. Weather fixing a network or writing
computer code he can do just about anything that needs to be done on a
computer.
